Compassionate, curious, and collaborative therapy for growth and healing.

Qualifications

Current Clinical Practice

I’m a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, where I specialized in the Social Justice & Diversity stream of study. I also have a diploma in Assaulted Women’s and Children’s Counsellor/Advocate studies from George Brown College and a BA from the University of Toronto.

I draw on approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and tailor each session to meet you where you are. My practice is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and grounded in cultural humility.

Currently, I work as a social worker at Mount Sinai Hospital’s Academic Family Health Team, where I offer short-term therapy for folks navigating depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and trauma. I also support medical residents in building their counselling skills and collaborate with a team of physicians to provide holistic, person-centered care.

Being a first-generation Algerian-Canadian has deeply shaped how I understand healing, identity, and connection. I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome.
